Using a combination of yoga, mindfulness practices, journaling prompts and group discussion, this series will explore the cultivation of inner kindness and self-compassion. 

 

Topics covered include:

- the inner critic

- link between thoughts, emotions and behaviours

- fight/flight response

- neuroscience of compassion

- attachment theory

- yoga for various mental states

 

The class consists of equal parts: movement and mindfulness practices/discussion. Students will receive take-home exercises to practice the topics covered.
