TEEN YOGA & MINDFULNESS for Ages 13+
7-week Series

Mondays 4:15pm-5:15pm @ PUR Yoga

 

This series will explore a variety of Mindfulness tools, Mindful Yoga Movement and tools from the field of Positive Psychology to help students cultivate:

• self-awareness
• emotional regulation
• stress resilience
• relaxation for body and mind • improved focus
• ability to be present
• empathy and compassion

Each week covers a different topic that students will be invited to explore throughout the week with take home exercises.
The topics covered in this series include:


• anatomy of breath

• hought/emotion/behaviour model
• emotional self-care
• self-compassion
• neuro-plasticity and the brain ‘on mindfulness’

• growth mindset

• inner critic
